Tasha

"My favourite part about being a celebrant is meeting my couples and hearing all about their journey together. It’s an honour and a joy to be able to tell their stories in the presence of their nearest and dearest. I also love the look on their faces when the couple sees each other for the first time on their wedding day – it’s priceless!"

Oh, hey there! I’m Tasha Leung (she/her) and I'm a queer, POC wedding celebrant; if you're looking for a really personal, relaxed, and joyful wedding ceremony, you've come to the right place!
I'm dedicated to helping couples, like you, to make your day extra special. I believe your wedding day is a time to feel the most yourself, and that's why I offer wedding ceremonies that are completely personal and authentically you.

Whether you're a shy guy, want something more pared back, or want to veer right outside of the box, I'll listen carefully to your wants and needs to ensure the tone and feel is just right for you.

Here is me in a nutshell:
- I love my furry babies, Poppy and Reilly - and I will be obsessed with yours too!
- I live for gigs - but admittedly, my partner and I are past the age of buying 'standing' tickets!
- I will regularly eat myself into a food coma - pasta and sushi are my faves!
- I'm a collector of tattoos, but don't ask how many - I've lost count!

Coming from a background in Learning & Development, being a celebrant perfectly combines my passion for people with my creativity, communication, and organisational skills!

Based in Glasgow, Scotland, I travel within a 90-minute radius, which means generally, I also serve Greater Glasgow, Central Scotland, Edinburgh and Lothian, Perthshire, Ayrshire, and the Borders.

I believe that your big day should be totally and utterly reflective of you, and a day to remember for all the right reasons. Planning your day should be an enjoyable experience too, and I understand that every couple is unique. I cannot wait to get to know you and create your bespoke ceremony!

"From the moment we found Tasha online, without even meeting her we knew she was the celebrant for us. Tasha was nothing short of phenomenal throughout our entire wedding journey.

From our first meeting with her to our wedding day, she was simply amazing. As a gay couple, whose priority was to create a wedding day which was funky, relaxed and truly unique, Tasha pulled out all the stops. Our ceremony was put together perfectly and captured our love story in a way that made it seem like Tasha had known us for years. It was the perfect balance of light heartedness, sentiment and emotion, with several laughs being shared and a whole lot of smiles throughout.

It was so good that multiple guests commented on how amazing Tasha was, claiming it was the best wedding ceremony they have ever attended! If you are considering booking Tasha for your wedding, look no further. Tasha, thank you from the bottom of our hearts"

"We had an initial zoom with Tasha to ensure she was the right person for us. She made us feel at ease from the get go with her calming nature and soothing voice, we knew instantly she was the perfect celebrant for us.
She helped guide us every step of the way and listened to all our hopes and wishes for the big day.
Tasha is a perfectionist and is outstanding when conducting ceremonies. Our guests have all raved about her and how bespoke our ceremony was.
She truly captured our vibe and personalities and told our story beautifully.

We honestly cannot recommend Tasha enough. She is a beautiful person inside and out and she really goes the extra mile to make your wedding day truly special. We are so so grateful for Tasha for putting us both at ease, reassuring us and ensuring our wedding was the most magical and memorable day "

"When we were planning our wedding, one of our top priorities was making it something that felt true to us.  From the moment we met, Tasha went above and beyond to make that possible, brainstorming with us about ways we could make the wedding really reflect us as a couple.

Her enthusiasm is truly contagious and really helped get us excited about something that was months away!  When she showed up on the big day, it was like meeting a friend you hadn't seen in a long time. She delivered an absolutely beautiful ceremony and since my partner and I had submitted answers to certain parts privately, it meant we both got a lovely surprise in the middle of it all.
Tasha, thank you so much for everything! You made our special day absolutely perfect and we can't imagine it without anybody else at the altar."
