It’s alright, you can come out
It's alright, you can come out.
-Glinda- The Wizard of Oz
The two minutes before anyone walks down the Aisle can be super exciting but also a wee bit scary/terrifying!
So, this is why I like to pop out and say "it's o.k, your guests are buzzing to see you and most importantly, your other half is so so excited and feeling exactly as you are now".
I've already been in the room so I can reassure you it's not scary...just full of love and support.
It also secretly means I can get my shit together pre Ceremony because you look AMAZING and it gets me right in the feels every time.
It's the moment where I do the last minute guidance for your tribe:
Breathe, Smile, Breathe again.
Slow walk, don't run...nae forward rolls.
Your seats are just to the left/right.
To the person giving away: Big hug and kiss and a hug to your new in-law to when you "drop them off"
And an encouraging one last deep breath in and out.....we are good to go.....let's get you married.
If you embrace that all important reveal and Aisle walk....you will glow even more and show your other half how lucky they truly are. But most importantly, you will be able to take in this very special moment and remember it forever.
P.S I'll still be holding back my tears even though I say ill be fine.
